Combine the fact that its only 2.8 pounds heavy (that's with the battery by the way), the MSI X340-021US is no doubt one of the slimmest and lightest 13 inch notebooks in the world. When it comes to features, portability, etc. - it rivals the MacBook Air and improves on the MSI X320-037US, BUT the nice thing is that it doesn't come with a very steep price tag. Not to mention it runs on Windows Vista Home Premium. I once had a great laptop - the Lenovo U110, which is amazing when you look at it, BUT I found myself looking for a bigger and better display. And the MSI X340-021US provided the perfect answer. It comes with a 13.4 inch LED backlit LCD screen which is bright and shows good and vivid color contrast. The HDMI 1080p of the MSI X340-021US works perfectly well with my Samsung LCD, which I use very often when watching videos. Along with that, the HDMI of the MSI X340-021US efficiently passes sound or audio to my Samsung LCD TV speaker.

With the price, weight, large screen, and other features, I can say that the MSI X340-021US is the most perfect portable laptop around. The only thing that I could suggest as a room for improvement for this laptop is the additional USB port. Currently, the MSI X340-021US has only two. Adding more USB ports and having a slightly more powerful battery will surely make the MSI X340-021US laptop unbeatable in its category. FTP upload, web browsing, document creation, etc - no matter what you want to do with your laptop, the MSI X340-021US is more than up to the task!
